Formed in Feb 2005 in Manchester, England. Mark and Dan were looking to start a rock band that wasn't indie or hardcore metal like every other band they'd seen on the local circuit. This they achieved with intelligent lyrics and uncomplicated heavy riffs. Mark is the vocalist/frontman with his influences well and truly rooted in classic rock, Dan is the guitarist/backing vox also known as the riffmaster general, Dean is the bassist who is funkier than a week old tuna salad and finally Tony on drums/sarcasm is probably the best sticksman in England. "PYRO" really have to be seen live to be truly appreciated, as one reviewer put it, "Pyro assault everyone of your senses, they come, play, entertain and then have the audacity to drink you under the table. Excellent!"
